HV DC Combinder box repair
During a detailed physical inspection of the battery bank and DC distribution, the following critical installation defects were identified: Poor Workmanship: Multiple poorly crimped cable lugs and joints were found, creating high-resistance points and potential thermal hazards. Undersized Cabling: The DC interconnecting cables were not correctly sized to handle the system's potential current throughput safely. Asymmetrical Wiring: Cable runs between the battery strings were of irregular lengths. This imbalance creates unequal resistance paths, preventing the battery pack from balancing, charging, or discharging uniformly.
Customer-Supplied Install — Springs
Client sourced their own inverter and battery. We installed, wired, and commissioned the system with a full COC. The system is configured to run the alarms and their IP camera network during loadshedding. We also completed the IP camera installations and NVR setup.
